How to calculate the total days 1

How can I create a Crystal reports Formula that will produce results of the amount of days between (and including ) the opening of an invoice, and its payment. (using opendate and closedate fields)

The following will work if your date fields are in the datetime format:

DateTimeDiff({OPENDATE_FIELD},{CLOSEDATE_FIELD})

Thanks for the suggestion!!!!! It's sounds so promissing, but, I can't get it to run.

Make sure you are ending the line with ';'

DateTimeDiff({OPENDATE_FIELD},{CLOSEDATE_FIELD});
