How to bypass Bios Password for DELL Windows 2000

i HAVE A dELL PC WITH Windows 2000. I have forgotten my Bios password, How can I bypass this password???

As far as i am aware there is no way to bypass password if you have forgotten it other than:

1. Reset Bios from main board using the clear CMos Jumper, refer to main board manual.

2. Remove BIOS Battery for up to five minutes.

I assume this is a desktop PC and not a laptop.

Remove the battery on the motherboard for 30 minutes, then start over. Some motherboards have a reset jumper.

Thanks very much lads it worked.
The only thing is: when i turn on the PC It STOPS BOOTING ON THE DELL LOGO WINDOW, and i have to press escape to bypass it. What could be the reasons for this????????????

When you removed the battery or used the jumper, you reset all BIOS preferences to default. There is most likely an option in the BIOS to skip the screen automatically, which you will need to select.
