how to block phone numbers?

I hope someone can help me.
I need to block some numbers from calling our receptionist. I created a vector routing table and updated the vector for the main company number with this line:
goto step 30 if ani in table 100
Step 30 routs a call to the trap.
I tested this set up with my cell phone and it works just fine.
BUT somehow those calls still go to the front desk and I do not know what backdoor they use.
Please help.

we've talked about this a million times you should search. The EC500 meathod works best.

This is how you fix your issue.

Create an xmobile station like this:

Cell Phone Number: 'ANI NUMBER'
Mapping Mode: origination

AND create a COR with this:

Calling Party Restriction: origination

EC500 is definitely a good method. We use a combination of incoming call handling treatment tru xx, replace the ext digits with a VDN and do the call blocking at the vector level. Its pretty effective as well.

I can post an ani block vector if an example is needed.

I do not know how to use the EC500 method to block a number. The Avaya admin manual doesn’t give any details about that.
How can I find any info on that?

Your not going to find this in any manual. But it works just follow these simple steps.

Create an xmobile station like this:

Cell Phone Number: 'ANI NUMBER'
Mapping Mode: origination

AND create a COR with this:

Calling Party Restriction: origination

What commands do I have to use?
What is the relationship between xmobile and EC500?

'cha cor X' set calling party restriction to origination. I also use a FRL of 0, just for fun.

'add station XXXX'. Set the station type to xmobile. Set the cell phone number to any number you don't want calling you. Set the mapping mode to origination.

I got it now.
Here is what I have in system-parameters customer-options:
Maximum XMOBILE Stations: 0 0

If I need to block say 10 incoming numbers, do I need to create an xmobile station (when I have licenses) for each number? Or I can use the same xmobile station for different incoming numbers?

One license for each number you want to block.
