How to block email attachments like .exe/etc

How do you block .exe and other bad file attachments with sendmail. Im using redhat 7.1.

1) So if I limit the email size, it limits for the entire server. Its not domain specific or user specific. Well can it be?
2) Say i was to limit the size. Whats a good #. I have been checking the sizes of my regular emails, but dont want to block a legitimate email to come in. Also some .exe attachments and .vb... attachements are really small.

Question:
How does everyone out there do this? Are you people just sifting through the mail and deleting the bad ones.

Sendmail hasn't got much functionality. However, you can use procmail with sendmail to filter messages, auto-reply etc.
