We have a PRI that is sending area code and prefix. We would like to have it blocked. After contacting AT&T, they said they no longer give the option of blocking caller ID on PRIs. We need to block it on the switch. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks.

Ld 21. Prt CLID, then in LD15 CHG NET, go to your CLID tables and delete them! you could even chg the CLID option to no there....That should bypass the tables

looks like the OCLI is No that means it's not sendign out CLID, right????

why dont you just assign whatever phones are dialing out of the swich clid entry 2, or create clid entry 3 with all zeros or something.

fake address to catch spam don't email to it.

scratch that last post from myself, i was trying a test. Sorry guys.

Only problem is that if you add CLID to sets with voicemail the switch won't know where to direct the DID.

well your only editing the external CLID not internal extensions. So voice mail would still get routed by extension..
