HOW TO BLOCK C.D.R. RECORDS?

How do I block a group of extensions from sending any C.D.R. records?

Enter the number of digits to hide, counting from the end (right to left). For example, if you enter 4 in this field and the user dials 555-1234, only "555" would appear in the Dialed Number field of the CDR record.

Thanks for the tip, however not quite what I needed.

I need a way to 100 % block both incomming & outgoing C.D.R. to selected stations.

Here is the situation -- my company is now providing the local Time/Temp. # for our community. All of these inbound call records are eating up memory in my C.D.R. machine for no good reason. Any other ideas?

If you open the C.D.R. output. All data must be record.
so you can change your "C.D.R.machine" to delete file,if receive some identified station's or trunk's file. This is my solution because I have same problem.

Another Idea

Not sure of your trunk setup. If the time/temp calls arrive on a separate trunk group, you can turn off CDR.

change trunk XX page 1

CDR Reports: y

y All outgoing calls on this trunk group will generate call detail records. If the Record Outgoing Calls Only field on the CDR System Parameters screen is n, then incoming calls on this trunk group will also generate call detail records.
n Calls over this trunk group will not generate call detail records.

Another great idea -- unfortunately, time/temp. using same trunk group as all other calls we do need C.D.R. info on.

I really thought that there was an option in C.O.R. (or some other area) to kill all C.D.R. info -- oh well, just dreaming I guess.
