Dial delay count set to 4, but if you do that you cannot use the ; character in system shortcodes, only in ARS
But sounds like a very bad idea either way
Current 911 PS/ALI Legislation
Twenty four states currently have E-911 legislation enacted or pending that requires organizations over a certain size or purchasing a new PBX to implement E911 for the safety of their employees, students, and visitors. On December 3rd, 2015 the" Kari's Law Act of 2015" affecting E911 for MLTS was introduced in the House of Representatives.
Had this issue a few years ago where we had a rash of accidental 911 calls;changed my SC from 9N to 8N and the problem is now non-existent. Programmed 911 or 8911 to go out to emergency. If your users accidentally dial 911 and hang up, have them call back and tell the 911 operator it was a mistake or you will have the cops showing up at your premises.
That should make the po po more suspicious if they've ever been trained in the lsat 50 years.
Tried that, they came in the back way with guns out. Last time i went back to that customer.
They'll still roll if they're gonna.
GB let me give you a star as well because I use that for all installs and change it even on existing customers to avoid the hassle of accidental 911 calls.
thanks for that, so simple yet so effective
