How to bend TEXT in form of a circle ?

i want a text to be bent in form of a circle. The text should be bent on a baseline not simply placing all the letters in a circular fashion. Please help me out.If possible send me code snippettes.

Gotta do it as a graphic - .gif, .jpg, etc. There's always a better way...
