Dear all,

I have Exchange server 5.5 with about 50 users to access mailbox from their MS Outlook.

Now I don't have idea to backup all user account and mailbox at exchange server just in case if the server get problem.

What should I do?
Thank you in advance.

There are two types of backups. Online and offline. 3rd party software and a tape drive are good suggestions. However, NT server with exchange 5.5 can utilize NT backup to backup online exchange databases. When you install Exchange by default it adds the database backup utility. Microsoft's disaster recovery refers to using NT backup. We currently use veritas backup exec software. Simple to use once configured. I could also recommend microsoft's exchange disaster recovery documentation parts 1 and 2. There is some very good information and you should be able to get it from microsoft's website. If not it is available in the TECH NET subscription. Hope this helps.
