Dear ladies and gentlemen,
i trust you are all fine. I am humbling requesting if someone can point me in the right direction on fixing the issue in the subject above.

The issue is, i have a client with 8 branches ( KX-NS500 @ 5 sites, KX-TDA200 @ 2 sites, kx-tda100 @ 2 sites, KX-TES824 @ 4 sites and KX-TD1232 @ 2 sites. Somehow using gateways (Because using IP Trunk Licenses was expensive)we managed to setup call routing to all sites - Extension to extension dialing and it was also much easier to setup. Maximum 8 simultaneous per site and the HQ accommodates maximum 20 simultaneous calls.

The problem, is i would like to eliminate the requirement for an extension user having to first press 9 before dialing the 3 digit extension number to the other branch. A FreePBX is also installed on this Network and dials all extensions directly because of the flexible dial plan it has.

NOTE: All are on the same VPN

You have a right mix of systems are they all using 9 to ring other systems, if so how do they make external calls

are all the extensions different lead numbers on the systems, like system a is 1xx and system 2 is 2xx, if so on the ns/ncp/tda you can do other pbx lead number pointed to a trunk group so when you dial 2 for different pbx it will send it out on the correct trunk

tes may be an issue, and the 1232 you could do it with qsig, but would have to refresh my memory how it could be done in your setup

Are all the extensions different lead numbers on the systems?
Yes, all extension ranges in the different PBXs were changed to 1XX, 2XX, 3XX, 4XX, 5XX, 6XX 7XX and 8XX

All PBXs have a trunk from the service provider connected to them.
So if a user presses 9 and dials any digit starting with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 the call is routed to the appropriate branch.

When they press 9 and dial any digit starting with 0, the call is sent to the PSTN via the Telco-trunk.
We tested making outbound calls through telco-trunks connected to ther PBXs and were working fine but for now we want them to use telco-trunks locally connected on their local PBXs.

I tested the KX-HTS32 instead of the KX-TES824. The TES824 can dial directly withou pressing 9 because it has the option inbuilt to omit using 9 or 0

Am told you can assign an access code to place calls through a specific trunk or trunk group by dialing a single digit (its been a while since i did this). Else i was considering change extension numbers to 91xx, 92xx, 93xx, 94xx ...98xx

Are you using lcr / ars for routing calls. If so you can set quick dial to dial say 5 and get it to add 9 just delete all lead digits in number plan for other systems and set as lead digits for quick dial plus 9 so when you dial 5xx it will dial 95xx
