Is it possible to have an autoreply to only a specific sender? like an example a specific hotmail account? can you configure exchange to reply to that person with a auto reply msg? without the recipient having knowledge of the email being sent to them?

Thanks, PAUL

without the recipient having knowledge of the email being sent to them?

That would be against Privacy Laws! Be VERY careful with those options as it equals SPYING!

paulha, that is a bit difficult if you want to hide it from the user!

99.9 % of our users wouldnt have a clue about the rule's existance, I am guessing 99.9% of paul12345's wouldn't have either.

Until the user finds the rule, they wont have any knowledge of the email, which is what paul12345 asked for

;-)

Orying to help

Cheers

You are assuming a lot, whixh is not a safe bet in any case, sorry.

But besides that, it remains illegal to do so.

what rule?? i dunno what your talking about...lol j/k..no no listen its from a users request.. i thought it was a little interesting when she ask for it? i thought emm....i wonder if that is possible. she said somoene was harrasing her from a hotmail account and she wanted to know if it was possible if we can set up something that autoreplies to the person sending the harrasment emails without her knowing or seeing any email from the person?

Thanks, PAUL

In that case it would be so much easier just to block that annoying address, and it is legal ;-)

There are two ways you can do this. If this is a harassing email - why reply - just use the junk mail folder and have it automatically deleted from the mailbox or if there is a reason to send a reply, then the rules will do it.
