How to amplify charts on Powerpoint

Hello,

I am giving a presentation in PPT. I need help with two things.

1) How can I set a chart/graph such that during the actualy presentation, when I move the mouse over a particular bar, the numeric value/data should show up?

2) Is their anyway to animate my graphs in PPT so that on click, one bar rises, then next click, the other data set bar rises to it's level?

it's probably not the right way but I have achieved 2) by copying one slide and adding another slide on which I have added the extra bar.
