how to allow a phone to use the same analog trunk?

Hello there,

We have 8 analog trunk connected to an 3300 cx without the tenanting option.
for phones we use 8 spektralink I640 phone.
to call a Phone over an outsidenumber is working, but the problem i have is how can i make sure that every phone dials out over his own trunk???

i've tried some different options like route list (with cor's) but that isn't working because i get an not allow message and there are only 6 route numbers in a list and i need 8.

the problem is that they don't want to use different code for every phone to call outside.

Have you tried 1 route and use interconnect restrictions instead?

Iv'e looked for intercepting and other things, that i don't remember all the things i tried.

every phone and every trunk you create needs to be assigned an interconnection number.

on second thought if you use this restriction the phones wont be able to talk to each other so it might not be the best method.

use different interconnects for the trunks and phones. Only restrict the phone interconnects from the trunk interconnects.

So if you used I/C 10-18 for the trunks, and 20-28 for the phones, I/C 20 would only be restricted from 11-18, 21 restricted from 10 + 12-18, and so on. This way all stations can still call each other.

I had to look up Interconnect restrictions to refresh my memory.

Any device can be assigned an interconnect Number of 1 to 64

Each Interconnect number can be restricted on a number by number basis to each of the other numbers

EG

EXT1 is IC#1
EXT2 is IC#2
EXT3 is IC#3
EXT4 is IC#4
EXT5 is IC#5
EXT6 is IC#6
EXT7 is IC#7
EXT8 is IC#8

TRK1 Is IC#11
TRK2 Is IC#12
TRK3 Is IC#13
TRK4 Is IC#14
TRK5 Is IC#15
TRK6 Is IC#16
TRK7 Is IC#17
TRK8 Is IC#18

In the Interconnect restriction form:

IC1 Restricted from 12-18
IC2 Restricted from 11, 13-18
IC3 Restricted from 11-12, 14-18
IC4 Restricted from 11-13, 15-18
IC5 Restricted from 11-14, 16-18
IC6 Restricted from 11-15, 17-18
IC7 Restricted from 11-16, 18
IC8 Restricted from 11-17

Your ARS can then have 1 trunk group with all trunks and the phones will take the appropriate line.

ok thanks so far wil try it prob next week.

this is just a temp connection with 8 Nlog lines from an Ericsson MD110 in the future rhey will switch to the Mitel full.
