i am creating a layout that is a nothing but a bunch of thumbnails on each page. I'm wanting to create some kind of locking guide to make sure their all level and aligned evenly. If you have any ideas besides drawing a line at different increments please share.........The line thing is taking forever. Thanks

Under VIEW, select snap to guides. Place guides where you need them, and the images will snap to the closest guide when you place them.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

Be aware that in InDesign you can use the alignment palette functions on ruler guides...so you can distribute rulers accurately on your page. Also check out the "Create Guides" feature under the Layout menu which will create a grid of you page out of ruler guides.
