hi there,
just wonder if anybody knows a trick of converting rectangular table into one with the rounded corners?

Is it possible at all?

To be exact not the whole table - but just the top row, where the heading is.

Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

thanks!

cheers,
Yelena

Running InDesign CS2 on Tiger 10.3 (or something around this figures).

I don't believe you can round the corners of the cells, but you can round the frame containing the table. First make a rounded corner text frame slightly higher than needed. Create a rectangle and place along the bottom edge, covering the rounded corners. Select both frames and use the Subtract command in the Pathfinder palette. You now have a frame with rounded corners at the top, and square at the bottom. You can now place your text in and convert the text to a table. Adjust the cells to fit within the frame on the right side.

I would remove the head from the table and make it a textbox above the table. Then just go to "Object" in the menu and select 'corner effects'.
