Hi All,
I've been digging thru Alex, but still can't find an answer on how to add function keys to an IP phone.
I have a BC12. Phones are DBS 425 & 422.

Thanks

From the web browser in your PC, you can access your IP telephone to handle data in the telephone. The following can be done:

Phone book: add, change and delete items.
Call list: view the list, add an item in the list to the phone book, make a call to a number in the list and delete items.
Settings. Programmable keys: add, change and delete numbers.
Settings. Hearing level: select standard or increased.
Password: change the password for the web interface.

Regards
Isinor

Thanks Isinor. I am going to try that. I've already accessed the phone thru its web interface, but didn't dig deep enough.

Hi Phonetech1,

In BC12 SP7 a new config-file and software was released for DBC425 & DBC422. In the new config-file you can predefine function keys.

[FunctionKeysDBC425]
CallBack=1
FollowMe=2
FreeOnSecond=3
MessageWaiting=5
Transfer=6
;Menu=
;Conference=
;CallPickUp=
;CallWaiting=
;Intrusion=
EnablePBXStoring=YES

[FunctionKeysDBC422]
Conference=0
Transfer=1
Settings=5
FollowMe=6
MessageWaiting=7
FreeOnSecond=8
CallList=9
;CallPickUp=
;CallWaiting=
;Intrusion=
EnablePBXStoring=YES

Regards SLU

Thanks for the info. I know that we have BC12, but I don't know how to find out what SP we are at.
