How to add DSS console

Hi I have a merling legend and I have an mlx-20l aside from pluging it in to the DSS port what else do I need to do to add it to the system programing wise? thanks jake

you may need to renumber the 3 pages to conform to your dial plan

I would just plug it in - it will probably fire up on page 1. If you have a small system - that should be adequate.

by default the first page appears as extensions 0-49, the second page as 50-99 and the third page as 100-149. if this does not conform with your extension range, you will have to renumber those pages to the proper ranges.

MY ranges is in the 3000-4000 How do I renumber? thanks jake

Under "STANDARD SPM":

System Prog > Exit/Start > System Renumber > Single > More > DSS Buttons > Enter Button Number (1-3) 1 > Enter > Enter First Dial Code of Group > (In your case, 3000).

However, at this point I must ask, do you really have 3000 to 4000?

Hi, Well the system is set up for DID in the 3XXX range thats why we have it set like that. Im trying to do what you said but it does not appear to be working
