How to add Disk to DELL 1650 running red hat linux

Hi all,
can anybody help me on to add a disk to dell 1650running linux.

One of the disk was defunct and i have to replace it with new one.

its configured at raid 1 (hard ware raid)

I would appreciate if any body can send me the steps to do during the configuration from boot process.
