Yikes! I think I'm stumped. I'm kinda new to this forum but so far can't find or make sense of an answer I need, so I'll star my first thread!
I have a financial statement in which calculations among subreports are done in the main report. So far this has been simple, using shared variables on grand totals or running totals created in the subreport. But or my Expenses subreport, I have both group totals (for each type of expense) and running totals for a grand total of the expenses (which i can access easily enough).
I need to take, for instance, the group total of salaries and wages (or emp benefits, or supplies, or ...) and divide by units of service (from a subreport, but no problem getting the variable on UOS) in the main report.
Can someone help me?? It'd be GREATLY (stress great) appreciated. I've purchased and read Ken's newest book and a few other sources, but I'm still unclear as to the approach I should take.
Thanks!
Joni
