I usually use indesign but this particular client requested that I use Quark. I need to insert bulleted points for a list and can't find how to do this anywhere, I am very frustrated

You do this the same way that any program adds bullets (ID is just a little nicer about it).

option-8 on Mac

Alt-0149 on PC

Quark doesn't do automatic bulletting -- you'll ahve to insert a bullet character (on the Mac, option-8 in most fonts) before your bullet lines. You could also write an AppleScript to put in bullets before a selected text range.

Hope this helps.

If you are using a PC, a bullet can be created by selecting the wingdings font and pressing the (L) key.

I AM STILL NOT ABLE TO CEATE BULLETS WITH THESE SOLUTIONS IS THERE ANY OTHE INFO ISHOULD KNOW?

On a PC hold down your shift & alt keys, then type the 8 at the top of the keyboard (not the number pad on the right). Type all the bullets you want with these three keys!

Also keep in mind that it's not alt-149, but alt-0149. That extra zero is important!

You also need to control your bullets with TABS.

to insert a bullet in Quark on PC... hold down ALT + SHIFT and press 8. It works for all versions so far.
