Pulling my hair here :)
Can someone please tell me how to create a Bridged appearance on the 1120E sets?

It is a SIP phone, these do not support bridged appearance.

Thank you! that would explain everything then!
Is there a way to have the Boss's phone rings together with the recep phone? The internal twinning will not help as the twinned phone will not be able to receive direct calls..

Thank you
Sam

Only with a huntgroup or an Avaya phone really :)

You can call a twinned extension with the "dial extension by number" or "dial extension by ID".

Thank you very much for your input. I believe I will setup a hunt group as a work around as per Armiddle :)

Gordon - Button 1 in the programming is the first programmable button on an 1140 (middle on the right hand side of the phone). No need to program appearances on a SIP phone.

Biv,is it no need or no way to program appearances on 1120e SIP phone?

Thanks
Sam

A SIP phone is like an analogue handset.

How many appearance keys can you program on it? Well as many as you like, but they wont do jack! :)

Supper funny, I used to configure Bridged appearances on Polycom SIP phones attached to a free Open source SIPX call server but it is not an option with the Avaya IP Office :)
