I am running NB on a clustered environment (W2K)and receive the following from one side of a clustered pair upon fail over.

Event Type: Information
Event Source: NetBackup Device Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2597
Date: 9/2/2003
Time: 9:10:21 AM
User: N/A
Computer: XXXXXXXXXXXX
Description:
ltid received request type 92

This continues until I fail it back to the previous server and fills up my log file. I have deleted the configuration from both servers and reconfigured them to no avail, it comes back. Does anyone know how to get rid of this message? It doesn't seem to affect the backups as they run as scheduled. Someone told me that ltid was probably running already and that was causing this message, but when I control the processes it is not listed prior to the fail over.

This message is caused by the fact that debug logging is enabled for that server. To stop the messages, disable logging and also delete/move any file with the word "debug" from the <install path>\Veritas\Volmgr\database directory.

After restarting the Netbackup services this notification should stop.
