How Should I Use second Ethernet

I have a new 2611 Cisco router that came with 2 Ethernet interfaces. How can I use the second interface to our advantage? Load balacing? Redundancy? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How many devices are connected to your first Ethernet?
if you have too many devices you can use the second interface to segment the network and connect the second segment to a different switch so you have a smaller broadcast Domain

If you host any internet sites that are available to the real world but no internal, you can set up a DMZ to help protect your internal net.
