How pass on caller id when forwardfing unconditionally

Is there a way to pass on the caller id when an extension is set to permanently forward calls unconditionally to an external number? Currently the receiver will just see the extension from where the call if being forwarded from rather than the id of the actual caller. We are using a very old IP403 system with Voicemail Lite.Hope that is clear.
 
As far as i am aware the answer is no. The only possibility would to be able to show (Network dependent) the number that is diverting the call or a programmed DDI
 
Assuming you have a PRI, and your carrier allows you to control the outbound caller ID, and won't reject caller IDs that aren't your own DID's, create a new ARS table, with this entry

Code: N
Telephone Number: NSSi
Feature: Dial 3K1
Ling Group ID: Your PRI

For the Forwarded User - Forward to 9 111 222 3333
Set a User Short Code for the User

Code: 9N
Telephone Number: N
Feature: Dial
Line Group ID: 51 (or whatever the new ARS is)
