how open a flash5 file in flash4 ?

i can't do this. this message apear when i try to open a file in flash 4 make in flash 5.

"Unespected file format"

So, how i solutionate this? a plug-in?, a utility?

you can not open a 4 fla in 5...the only thing you can do is import the swf into 4 but you will loose alot of actions and things that 4 doesn't support...as far as i know there is no work around:
could be wrong though..

I think you're right Virt. You can export in Flash 4 format from 5 but you lose a lot of functionality and that new Macromedia trick of hunting down the new plug-in for you happens anyway so you might as well export in 5 in the first place .

Yes, it's sad but true...Flash 5 is not backward compatible. See the Macromedia Tech tip at:
