Ive used a query to make a table which shows the data I want, (specifically, which vendors carry which products) but it repeats the same pairs of values many times (when a vendor carries the same product from many manufacturers).

Anyone know how to format the resulting table to just disregard repetitions? Or any other method for getting rid of this?

Thanks to all.

In the query's design view, press the Totals button on the tool bar - this will add a Total: Group By line to your query grid and limit the output to only unique values.

Hi,

In your query design form, right-click the title-bar and then select 'SQL-View'.

Insert 'DISTINCT' immediately after 'SELECT'. (Ensure a space on either side of 'DISTINCT').

If your rows really are duplicated, then this will return only unique or 'distinct' data.

Right-click the title-bar to return to the query or datasheet.

Kind regards,

Darrylle
