We have some performance problems on your current 6.5 firewall running on NT.
We should upgrade to 7.0 and will do so soon, but my real problem is if it will help.
Several people have told me that I should never expect to be able to pull more then 10 Mb/s through a Raptor firewall.

Is this realy true?

I would need around 50-100Mb/s

Current server is a Dell 2550 with dual 933 Mhz at a lot of ram, and the new one will be a Dell 2650 with dual 2,4Ghz Xeon (or more)

The most bandwidth you could hope for with SEF on a W2K box with dual processors and a ton of RAM will be about 30 – 40MB/s. you would be better off getting a Hardware based Firewall like Nokia Checkpoint.
