How many TN's am I using?

I need to find out exactly how many TN’s I’m using on my Option 11c.

When I go into LD 10 the following information is printed:

My question is as follows:

Does the 288 TN’s listed on the “TNS AVAIL” line include the 30 shown as used on the “ANALOGUE TELEPHONES AVAIL” line?

We are getting ready to move to a new building in the fall and we need to let the wiring contractor know how many phone drops we will need. I know that we don’t have a phone set hanging off of each used TN, but it would give us a starting point.

I wrote too soon. I did an LUU on 3000 and a whole bunch more came up. Which brings me to my next question. the 85 available TNs includes the DATA TNs too, right? what are these used for anyway?

When you get in ld 11 or ld 10 and you see used and available tn's that is not physical units. That is showing how many tn's have been purchased in soft ware. If you had enough card slots to add another 96 sets and you show 85 available you cannot build the 11 that are not licensed.

Hello - am trying to change a 3904 set - I am getting the following error code I do not have the error NTP's, when I queue the PBX I receive:

In the print out the type is a 3904.....any ideas?

take it out and put i back in or rerun midnight with a midn command for 135 or 137, then log off, to stop a midn use 137 halt, remember to use the unhalt when you finish, ava unit mean very little, 12 sets form now you can't add phones. that is a software lic feature and use luvu for voice ports, 2000 and 3000 will show the same tn's.. if i install 10 cards and install one phone on each card luvu will give me 150 ava tns.. if my header in ld 11 says used 199 ava 1 .. i can add one phone on any card one trunk one of anything that takes a phy port. if you have a lot of soft phones used for forwarding there may be a better way to do that and get some tn's back. i usually recogmend a drop on every 8 feet of wall space, in every office. then people will still find a place to put a desk that silver satin can't reach.
