Nortel will only support 3, but it will take a 4th one. Like cook1082 said "2 in the KSU and only 1 card in a trunk mod.

Except you have a total of two trunk mod's with one card each in them.

6 installed systems with 2 of them coming up in less than 30 days for one year installed, says your wrong.

Not bragging, just stating what is.

If you look at the programming it shows that that forth one is there.

I would go with 3. If for some reason you have to go to Nortel for support they will tell you to remove the 4th one and hang up. Then you have to wait again to get tehm back on the phone.

I've gotta agree. I know you can program a fourth, and it may work. I have to assume that Nortel tried to field the sw for four, but ran into issues somewhere with their bench testing.

I wouldn't sleep well at night running four until Nortel makes their docs match their software.

need help installing the 3'rd T1

we are using mics XC 7.1
2 - 6port fiber exp cards

on the main KSU we are using 2 T1 cards

1 is a PRI the other a T1 that we use as a point to point

we tried to install a third T1 card on Slot 1 of a cabinet connected to top port of the fiber card on the right

when programming we configure Module 8 as Trunk Module and card 1 as T1

on Maintenance on module status it shows Empty
the T1 card just flashes all leds and nothing happens.

does anyone have any tips or installation manual that they can share?

Is one of your exp cards a Combo card?

I think it does handle 4 but Nortel does not support it.

The 3rd DTI card must be a NT7B74AAAA. An old NT7B74GA-93 will not work in a trunk module. You need to verify which you have.
