Here is the situation. Option 81. We currently have 4 PRI in one route with 1 primary and 1 back up d-channel from Vendor X.
There are hundreds of DID numbers coming across these. We are changing to Vendor Z.
Vendor Z is saying that 300 of these DID are coming out of a different CO and they can't move them so therefore they will be bringing 1 PRI from the 1st CO and 3 PRI from the 2nd CO. Both CO have the same switch so the the interface and programming should be the same. If I put all 4 of then in the same Route, can I have the 1 PRI from the 1st CO have a primary D-channel and the other 3 from the 2nd CO have a primary and a back up? Does the system only allow 1 primary and 1 back up per Route?
I would think that the PRI to each CO should have it's own Primary d-channel. Should I just build 2 separate routes and be done with it?
Thanks.
