how many music on hold can you have

Hi I am running cm3.1. How many sources of music on hold can you have. For some reason when i go to add a 3rd source it does not work. I tried to add this on an analog board and even on an aux board but it doesn't play. Any idea of what is wrong? The basic things have been checked such as player playing music, cable is good, etc, etc. Is there a limitation somewhere? thank you for all your help.
