How many KIM's? 4

Hello,
Whats the max amount of KIM's you can install on a MICS with 6.1 software?

Nortel did not make it simple with the new Kim's that' for sure.
There is OKIM and eKIMs, the eKIMs will allow for line appearance including Taget lines and Huntgroups etc.
You can put 4 eKIMs on a T7316e or 9 OKIMs if you use additional power supplies.
You can program 5 CAPs on a system so 5 times 9 would be 45 KIMs?
I hope that simplifies it somewhat!

From reading the manual here is what I have "deciphered":

- a KIM becomes an eKIM if you program the DN it is connected to in 'CAP assignment' - you can attach only 4 KIM's to this DN (leaving you a maximum of 20 eKIM's on 5 phones)
*You can assign Lines,Hunt Groups,autodials,features to buttons on these KIMs


- a KIM is an OKIM if you do NOT assign the DN it is connected to in 'CAP assignment' - you can attach 4 KIM's (or 9 KIM's with a power supply) to these DN's - presumably every DN can have an OKIM - (no maximum other than 9 per phone with power supply)
*You can only assign autodials and features to these KIM's

Is there a specification on the receptionist's arm length for use of 9 KIM's in the manual? like 5 feet or so?

Sorry it still seems muddy to me. If I have a MICS with 20 T7316e and want attached 20 KIM's (1 for each phone) can I do it? All I want is to be able to see all the other phones on the KIM.

AMGHammer you can attach 1 KIM to each of twenty phones OK.
You cannot assign lines to these KIM's.
To do so would require you to make them eKIM's.
There are only 5 eKIM DM assignments available.
I believe the maximum number of sets that can also include and oKIM is 50.
