I have a customer that hosts conference calls and needs an easy way to call in and find out how many people are listening. They may have 3 or 4 going on at a time but the conference host never has access to the internet so that is not an option. I have thought about having the system prompt the callers for the number of people that are listening before they join the conference but I am not sure how to collect the info and then get it the conference host. Thanks for any help.

You could have each participant hit a VMPro node that increases the value of a variable by one before entering, then have a secret prompt that plays the value of the variable to the host. You'd have to fool around with resetting the variable daily or when the conference is over - or have the host hit a prompt to reset.

Or use conferencing centre,

I use the eMail action in Voicemail Pro to send an email to a mailbox to includes the bridge/DDI(DID) and the CLI information that way I can keep track of who is using my bridge.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have never used conference center but the customer would not be opposed to it. Could we get what we want out of conference center. Keep in mind that these users are remote and do not have internet access.

It is kind of like I want to take a survey and have each caller enter how many are listening and then allow the host to call into a hidden greeting to get the results of the survey.

The first response seemed like a good idea but I would like to have something completely automated if possible.

Thanks.
