How long does exchange optimizer take to run?

I want to change the location of files from our C to D driveas the C drive is running out of space. We have about 200 accounts in exchange.

Depends on the speed of the processor, amount of RAM, size of database etc. How long is a piece of string?

Mine usually takes around 20 minutes start to finish.

Its a P3 500 with 256 ram.. I was worried it would take half the day.

Depending on the size of the store, you may well be able to do it over lunch, but I wouldn't risk it.

If things go pear shaped, have a backup to hand.

I ran Optimizer.. It only took about 15 mins. All seems fine now!
