Hello,
I would like to know where on the TN is configured to tell the TN what to dial.

I did a TRAC and was able to find out where it goes.. But one thing I do not understand is that where on the TN that say that what to dial or where it should go???

And also, it is a elevator phone, I have only one button to press.

I am planing to use FTR HOT but I really want to understand the configuration of the TN actual

Usually those buttons in the elevators are connected to auto dialers and the elevator company programs them. Hot D is for manual line operation, like a ring down. Typically not the set up with a button in the elevator.

So that's mean that the company setup on the elevator to dial the extension. I have to contact them to know how they setup it...

And a FTR HOT D is it a good idea to put on the elevator.

Thank you

Yes, contact the elevator company. It's not that it's a bad idea but with their programming and your programming together it may not work.

We actually use the HOT DEST and have our analog TN(s) ring down to our 911 Emergency Operators. Otis elevators have the older 'Janus' phone boards that can be programmed via DTMF codes including their ring down target, enabling prerecorded message announcements like "Elevator Emergency, Pres 1 to Talk or Press 2 for location", etc. We asked them to allow our PBX to handle the ring down. Like KFC stated, you need to work those details out with your elevator provider.
