People my boss it found a G3SI in the remote branch. And he ordered to me do a Check at the G3SI System. But I don´t know this system and hardware. I would like to know what can I verify at start of the checkup. Ok first I´ll try turn on hahaha. I only worked such as a operator of the Definity/Multivantage System.

My question is what I can verify in the first moment??

PS: Sorry my english are beginner!!! hahaha

Thanks for any help!!

When you first start it up, alarms would be the first thing AI would look for. "disp ala" is that command. This tell you what you have that is not connected, what is in trouble and the problems the system has.

Next I would run the "newterm" and or the "li con soft" and see how old the version of software is.

OK Mikey, thanks for your hint, now I can do start. Next step I need know how I conect my Laptop to G3Si. I think that I will use the "data module" to conect at pbx. How is it conected? At pbx or board have an input?

If anyone has a diagram its more easy.

This should help you do whatever you want to do to this switch. It is the Avaya installation, administration, and maintenance documents for your system. You can download the ones you want.

Look through the maintenance and installation docs, and they will show you step by step how to connect and run commands.
