I have spent a while online, and searching through this site, but cannot find a step by step on how to change the MX records.

I am unfamiliar with IT stuff, and was handed the position at work to take care of the server.

we had a spam filtering service and have cancelled it, and now need to change MX records to point back to us. i called our domain host, and they said it was correct on their end, i called our web host, and he said it was correct on his end. our spam service tells us it is not correct and we will soon stop recieving emails

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

also, we are using SBS2003 with exchange. i believe the email is controlled on our server, but i do not know for sure

Put your domain in this tool and it will tell you where the mx records are being hosted, then you will know who to contact.
