How dow I insert in the catalog

I am new to COGNOS and your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a catalog containing tables and views, grouped into folders. After creating some reports, I realized I need to add more fields to my views as well as modify the validations in it. I added the new fields to the tables and 'verified', but still it has not reflected in my folders. What am doing wrong??

You have to add the new table columns to the folders in an additional step. It's not too hard. See thread401-235147
