We are looking to up our standard resolution from 8x6 to 1024x768 due to some new software that just doesnt fit right in 8x6. How would that bump in res effect the amount of bandwidth required by Ts (percentage wise). Assuming that we have sufficent bandwidth, would we see any other type of performance loss?

Thanks for the help!

You shouldn't see any sort of performance lose. However it will require more bandwidth. Somewhere in the neghboor hood of 33% more. I've termed into a server at and above 1024x768 on dialup and it wasn't to bad. If bandwidth is an issue for people then can reduce the number of colors that are used which should speed things up. On the Remote Desktop app before you connect select options, then the Experience tab. Select from the drop down the network connection speed, or turn off stuff that you don't care about. By turning off the "pretty" stuff you can get that connection fairly skinny.
