This is an inherited ISA server LAN that I did not set up.
How does one determine if ISA sever was set up for Nat or Firewall Clients. I know this may be a simple question but I am not sure where to look. Some of the client computers have Firewall Client installed and some do not. I believe the clients that do not have firewall client computers are newer ones that whomever added software to them did not know to install the firewall client software.
Thanks,
Todd

Both clients are NAT to the outside world. The difference are that with firewall client installed, you have more possibilities than without. Clients without firewall client installed are called SecureNAT clients.

Knutern,
Some things stare one right in the face with the obvious. I need to have more confidence. Thanks so much for confirming my suspicions. I have been stung before and appreciate the strong confirmation.
Due to some earlier telnet problems, I had to install the client on any computer that required telnet access. It would only work sporadically if it was just a nat client
Thanks
Todd
