We use Data Dynamics Active Reports2 and I compile it to a Visual Basic dll file and call it from an ASP page.
Is there a better way to do web reporting?

An EXE maybe?

Crystal is way too expensive because they charge by user.

This will be for our Intranet/Extranet. I could just use a web page but you can't print it with headers and such.

Any software ideas would be welcome.

Thanks ahead of time.

I don't remember what the cost is but we use WebTrends Log Analyzer. I believe they have a 30 evaluation version. Just go to and follow the WebTrends links.

Try Site Logz. You can schedule the reports and display them via a web page and it is very inexpensive. I have been using this for a while for some of our customers and they have been happy with it

Thank you, but by web reporting I mean internal reports i.e. accounting, sales, etc., not stats on my site.
