Hello,

I have some limited experience with the NEC SV8100. However, I don't know if it's possible to do what I want in this system. I have a need for an auto-attendant but not for all incoming calls, only for one specific incoming DID. So, for example, if a call comes in on number 555-8888, I need that call to be routed to an auto-attendant that would say: "For ABC press 1; for DEF press 2; for XYZ press 3".

Please let me know if this is possible to accomplish with this system and how. If not, please let me know some creative ideas to accomplish this inexpensively.

Thank you!

1. Do you have an auto attendant?
2. InMail or VM-00 voice mail blade?
DID numbers that are routed using the DID translation tables, in MB 22-11 can be sent to an auto attn. With the InMail VM system, set 22-11, incoming digits to busy/no answer, to target destination 1, assign it 102 (102 = AA, not extension 102).
With the VM-00 voice mail blade, set the incoming digits to the VM pilot number in the target field, with no tranfer set.

Thank you belevedere,

1.- Well, an auto attendant is exactly what I am trying to replicate. So perhaps I am not understanding your question. At this time I do not have an auto attendant configured.

2.- We do use InMail in the 47-XX range for our voicemail. So I guess my next question is how do I actually configure the Auto Attendant itself.

Thank you again!

Please try this - Apply for PRI Trunks
22-02 - Incoming Call Trunk Settup: DID for all PRI trunks
22-09 -01 - DID Basic Settup: number received digits - Example 4 (receive last 4 digits)
22-11-01 Received Number: Example 8888 (receive last 4 digits of DID 555-8888)
22-11-05 Transfer Target 2: 5XX - XX is Attendant message number (example 01

25-06 - VRS/DISA 1 digit code attendant - Attendant Message XX (same as 22-11-05)

Then use phone/upload recording to finish the setting.

Hope this help
