I have a V3000 BRI with 4 ISDN lines and 11 numbers. When you dial one of the numbers the AA picks up the call. How do I set the default extension to be a hunt group (4001) rather than the AA on 501?

I have tried setting the ISDN BRI group and ISDN BRI channel auto extension to be 4001 for open, closed, lunch & other but the AA still answers the call.

I have worked around the problem by setting up a dial plan to map all 11 numbers to extension 4001 but I no longer get the benifit of time-based system mode changes.

6.0.44 btw

After further reading I'm guessing the default Table 2 rules are sending the calls to the AA as all my DDI numbers have a 5 in them.

If I use a table 2 like this:=

TableEntry Create 2 1 0 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 2 1 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 3 2 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 4 3 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 5 4 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 6 5 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 7 6 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 8 7 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 9 8 1 1 Internal 0 0
TableEntry Create 2 10 9 1 1 Internal 0 0

Will this accept calls on any DDI number and then use the Auto Extension setup on the ISDN channel or group?

You will have to set up timed routes in your dial plan.
