How do you reset you bios 1

I was just wondering how you would go about reseting your bios. FYI I am running Award Bios.

To reset your BIOS you need to do one of the following :-

1) Remove battery from the motherboard.
2) Use the battery jumper on the motherboard.
3) Download flash file and flash the BIOS.

Please be careful with options 2 & 3 if not sure don't do.

Well, if you have access to the BIOS settings, then your first step would be to choose the option "Reset to Default Settings". Of course, if you are locked out from a BIOS password, then try what was mentioned above...
 
If you have flashed the bios before you may not be able to reset to default unless you have a copy of the original. You can obtain these from the manufacturer of your motherboard.
