How do you reset lost Administrator password?

I have tried Hyper terminal
AT
Got OK response
entered
AT-X2
Got ERROR
entered
AT-X3
Got ERROR
I just want to wipe out the old config but the old IT guy does not work there and he changed the default password.
How do I again access to the IPO?

Gus, AT-X is not needed at all!!!
But if you want to do this with the DTE port then do it this way:

AT <enter>
at-debug <enter>
erasenvconfig <enter>
eraseconfig <enter>
reboot <enter>

This should do the trick

But it is easier with Manager
When you do not have the login credentials then you need the DTE port again.

Reboot the IPO and type:

AT <enter>
AT-SECURITYRESETALL <enter>
Enter the shown MAC address and you are done.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Unfortunately, "AT-SECURITYRESETALL" does not work with me. Which mistake do I maybe make?

DO NOT Erase config except as an absolute last resort.

AT-SECURITYRESETALL only works from V3.2 upwards

for earlier systems use one of the following

1) use Revelation on a backup copy of the config file

2) Use IPOpass (requires a network connection to the system)

3) get a reduced cfg from the system then use Revaluation.
form the command line type
Code:
tftp -i <ip address of system> GET config/shared.
(this is the process that IPOpass uses).
