Hi,
I want to remove a G650 Media Gateway from my system, (8710 v5.1). How do I do this?
The GW has only one board in it, a Medpro Tn2302AP. I only want to remove 01C....01A and 01B stay.

Thank you for any ideas / help.

thanks,
BT

remove the administration for that circuit pack
("remove ip-interface 01CXX"), once that is done, then "change cabinet 1", and change the "C" cabinet to uninstalled (or somesuch, can't remember the exact wording)

Mitch

P.S. When you physically remove it, remember to move the TDM Bus terminator from the "C" cabinet to the place you removed the short TDM cable from the "B" cabinet. You need to power down the G650 cabinets to do this safely.

Since you are running on an S87xx series server, I expect that you have redundant IPSI's which need to be in separate carries so you would not be able to get rid of cabinet 1A.

He is only trying to remove cabinet "C", "A" + "B" are staying :)
