How do you print disabled TN's on an Option 11c? I've only got threee available digital ports and I want to see if any ports are programmed but not being used.

LD 20
LDIS 0 Main Cabinet
LDIS 1 Cab 2
LDIS 2 Cab 3
LDIS 3 Cab 4

Another way to find out if there any unused ports programmed is to got to LD 32 and IDU the TN.

This is a used port, so leave as is. Below is a TN with no device plugged into the port, so you could use TN 8.12.

These are disabled ports, not just un-configured ports, right? If I use:
ld 11
luvu
type: 2000

That tells me the available ports already.

a quick check i use is ld 117 inv generate midnight... then anytime i want i can 117 inv prt sets.. that shows me the idu of every digital set in the switch.. it also insures the actual set maatches the as built.. for smaller systems you can do a stat for the card and catch phones that are disabled.. but that can be programed around.. the ld 117 finds missing phones even if they are not disabled

Those are unconfigured porst... Will not list disabled ports.

Go with JP's method. I always forget that one, but it is the best practice.

And once again, I misread your reply Bravo....luvu gives unconfigered or unused ports, not disabled ports.

What are the actual commands in ld 117? My manual only goes up to ld 97.

That's what I was afraid of. It tells me:
Sets file is non existent. Try again later.

So you're on an option 11....as you stated!

You have to do INV GEN SETS first then wait until it finish's before you can do INV PRT SETS

Don't forget the max TN limits of the card you will be using (norm 16). Eddie's example would have been using the 17th port.

if the 11 can get to 117

inv generate midnight,
then any day past that

ld 117
inv prt sets

you can't print the inv until you gerentate one...

If he has the correct midnight routines running at night he can go into LD 22 and PRT, AHST, and that will show the TNs that are 'bad'. I usually run that in the morning to see what was going on while I was gone...
