Does anyone know how to password protect MS Outlook 2000 on opening? IE: If you don't provide the correct password, then Outlook won't even open.

Cheers.

At what point are you being prompted with the password screen?

If using the CW install gp tp TOOLS - SERVICES and select the Exchange server component. Click PROPERTIES and then ADVANCED. Set the NT Authentication to NONE. joegz

Thanks for your help. I have solved the problem.
Right Click on Personal Folders, Properties, Advanced, Change Password.

I am using Windows NT and Microsoft Mail Postoffice. I have attempted to log into Microsoft Mail Postoffice and add a user to the existing postoffice. The system will not allow me to log in and responds with the message "A workgroup Postoffice can only be managed by the user who created it". I am definitely using the correct user name and password from when the postoffice was first set up. Is it possible that another user has changed the password inadvertently. If so, how do I find out what the new password is or reset to the old password.
