How do you Manually de-aquire a phone? 1

I have de-aquired an agent phone in symposium, but it wont let me out the phone in the Meridian 1 because it says that its still aquired.
Thanks for your help.

yes it is.. for opt 11 dacr agn 4 0, larger systems, dacr 4 0 0 0 would deacquire that tn.. i don't use that command, in earlier rls symposium i had major problems with doing dacr, the server would still show acquired, and then would refuse to acquire, or deacquire that set.. rls 1/1.5 2.. back then 1999/2000 all we could so was retart and hope we could get services back up.. since you have to acquire from the server, i suggest you deacquire the same way... if possible

hey, john -- you still would need to use 4 0 0 0 even for opt 11...don't ask why this command is different..
 
We had to start using this command after upgrading to 3.0. We still deaquire in symposium first but the switch still holds on to the set since other equipment latches on to the set also. The DACR AGT command was recommended by our vendor.
 
yes, i've had to do it that way myself, just don't like for someone to get in the habit of just doing the dacr in the switch and getting burned.. we are on the latest rls now so it may not be an issue, i just wanted to state the point..
