I have an access query that i will be running daily for a few weeks, I copy and paste it into an excel sheet (template),
I want to have several columns in the sheet color coded (Conditional Formatting) ....Low = green, moderate=yellow, high=red and
L=Green, M=Yellow, H=Red ...... How can I keep the conditional formatting with each copy paste.

Thanks

HI,

COPY/PASTE SPECIAL -- VALUES.

Hi

I don't see "Values"

I get a Paste Special dialog box with As...Excel 8.0 format, Biffs, HTML, Unicode Text, Text and CSV.
If I go with Excel 8.0 format, I lose the Conditional Formatting, but if I use Unicode Text it retains it.
I guess that works.

Values is synonymous with text. Text alone without any format data.
